Gridhakuta with the Pilgims
On the 20th of January, we visited Gridhakuta, "Vulture's Peak," where the Buddha taught his sutras. Christina got a ride up the mountain but she was able to travel down by foot. Although it looks like a fun ride, she mentioned that it was a harrowing experience at times, especially when they were running on the down hill parts of the trail!

The peak was covered in prayer flags and small rock stupas made by each pilgrim to visit this place.
Upon reaching the shrine to the Buddha, everyone found a spot to meditate.
Earlier on the trail, we encountered monkeys. When the sun began setting, we were visited once again by the monkeys!
