Even with less of a crowd, as would be expected for day 2 of the tournament, the teams played stronger. With their audible “chee” sound throughout, Buddhagupta and Tathagatagupta again showed their strength. Ashok Kumar (Buddhagupta) and Mohan Kumar (Sakraditya) earned the “Man of the Match” award for the day.
