I returned to Rajgir, Gridhakuta mountain, with the film crew and Deepak on the 27th of January. They were aimed at recording the chanting at the Vishwa Shanti Stupa World Peace Shrine Temple and also to shoot the setting sun from Gridhakuta.
Despite my fear of heights, we all rode the chairlifts up to the Peace Stupa. The crew had a little difficulty maneuvering on and off of the lift because of their tripods, sliders, and cameras, but we all managed to safely reach the top.
After shooting pictures of the Vishwa Shanti Stupa and the chanting, we raced down a back trail, still being constructed, in order to join up with the trail leading to Gridhakuta hill, Vulture's Peak. At the peak, a group was chanting in front of the Buddha shrine. The film crew interviewed Deepak there at Vulture's Peak and also a little lower at the stupa site where the Buddha gave many sutras.
