Varanasi Ghats - Boat Ride

Last night, we went the Ama Ganges (Mother Ganges) river.  The Ganges is a 2510 km long sacred river to Hindus. Many believe that if you die here you will go straight to heaven.

We boarded a wooden boat and they rowed us to over to many other wooden boats.  All the boats were tied together as we watched a thanksgiving show with chanting for the mighty Ganges river.  Next we rowed over to see a funeral cremation.

It sounds like you are off to a great experience.
Everything on the home front is good.
