July 2, 2010 – Nava Nalanda Mahavihara
The guest house has an enormous bedroom with two single beds; a cabinet with shelves for linens, folded clothes and other toiletries; clothes hooks; a mirror on the wall;a small table;a tv (which I haven't turned on yet); a small desk to work at; a ceiling fan and air conditioner.
The kitchen has filtered water, a refrigerator, electric tea kettle and dishes.
The bathroom has a toilet, hot water heater, shower, and sink. It is all tiled, so it makes bathing and washing easy.
Dr. Panth, Vice-Chancelor of Nava Nalanda Mahavihara Deemed University has provided spacious guest quarters for me on the campus. My guest house is on the outside of one of the monk's hostels. It has a wonderful front porch that I sit out on in the afternoons and read.
